What Is Folkehøjskole?
It has since spread throughout Scandinavia where there are more than 150 schools active today. Exploration of new things and experiences while living together is the basis of learning. The essence is finding our own voices to speak out authentically on vital topics and take action in society.
As we as individuals take charge of our own learning, we make new discoveries. Shared activities lead to dialog and gemination of ideas. This is a relaxed ambience where we establish life-long learning patterns and life-long friends are made, definitely influencing our life direction.
